On Nov. 4, a group of Kanata Baha'is and friends gathered at the Beaverbrook library to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Birth of Baha'u'llah, the prophet-founder of the Baha'i faith. The global festivities involving people of thousands of ethnic backgrounds demonstrate a key message of Baha'u'llah's life and teachings.

Marianne Wilkinson was a special guest at the event.

Coun. Marianne Wilkinson was a special guest at the event. The program included the movie "The Light to the World," a film produced to celebrate the bicentennial. The film depicts the highlights of the life of Baha'u'llah and his teachings for mankind.
