Prayer and meditation are core to Bahá'í daily practice. Every believer in Bahá'u'lláh is enjoined to pray and meditate morning and evening in private. There are also benefits associated with gatherings where people come together to partake of the Word of God. Currently there are a number of regular gatherings where people of all faiths and denominations are welcome to come and hear readings from the Holy Books from the different Faiths. Please see the schedule below for details. The Bahá'í community of Ottawa is organized in small geographic areas we refer to as "sectors". Many of the events are organized for Bahá'ís and the public within those sectors. Additional information can be obtained by contacting the secretary of the sector management teams.
